Evensong

 

On Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. the Gregorian Singers will sing a Lenten Choral Evensong at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4557 Colfax Ave S., Minneapolis, MN. Works will include Magnificat and Nunc dimittis by Robert Ramsey (c. 1595-1644); the Preces and Responses of Thomas Tompkins (1572-1656); Anthem, O Lord God, the Heathen Are Come Into Thine Inheritance by William Child (1601-1697); In Pace, Anthem for Evensong by William Blitheman (1525-1591); and Psalm 145: Anglican chant by Henry Lawes (1591-1662) and John Robinson (1682-1762).
